Geography


 

The Kingdom of Swaziland is a landlocked country in Southern Africa, bordered to the north, south, and west by South Africa, and to the east by Mozambique.
The land size is about half of Taiwan.

 

 

Swaziland is divided into four regional administrative districts:
1. Hhohho (Mbabane which is the Capital city is in this area),
2. Lubombo,
3. Manzini
4. Shiselweni.

 

Environment
Swaziland is a scenic country; there are 4 main rivers from the east to the Indian Ocean. The rivers irrigate the farms and water is used to generate electric power.

 

 

Climate

The climate in Swaziland is mostly subtropical. During September to March of every year is the rainy season, the average temperature is between 15℃ to 23℃. The air temperature and humidity will change according to the terrain, from the forest in the east to the hills in the middle and the plateau in the west.
